  • Where to Print Wedding Invitations

So you’ve decided to DIY your wedding invitations. Whether you’re designing everything from scratch or using one of our invitation templates, there are a few options for printing wedding invitations!

You might consider printing your wedding invitations at home. If you have a small quantity of invitations and a very high quality printer, this might be a good option! Otherwise, we recommend outsourcing wedding invitations to a professional printer – here’s why.

Challenges of Printing Wedding Invitations at Home

At first glance, printing wedding invitations on a home printer might seem like the easiest, cheapest, and quickest way. We urge you to consider a few things before printing your own invites!

    • Cost. The actual cost. Consider ink (especially if you’re opting for a colorful design or full flood background), paper (you’ll want to use a nice or thicker cardstock), a paper trimmer (unless you find pre-cut cardstock to the dimensions you need)
    • Time. Although printing can be done while you work on other tasks, take into account the time it will take to cut down each piece of paper. Often forgotten is the time to set up for a test print – usually there are a couple runs before you get the formatting perfectly from screen to product, so allow extra time for this part of the process!
    • Quality. Unless you own a high quality printer, often the quality of DIY invitations printed at home are a little “meh”. Many home printers don’t handle too thick of paper and colors + overall quality aren’t close to that you can get from using an industrial machine.

When you choose to outsource your printing, you don’t have to worry about ink, paper, cutting, quality — and most importantly, time and stress!

    Where to Print Wedding Invitations

Your wedding invitations are the first impression of your big day and set the tone for the entire event. Having quality printing and nice paper really does make a difference. Just because you’re DIYing doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the best!

When I started the someday paper co template shop after being a boutique invitation designer for over 7 years, I made it a priority to find a printing partner that would give my customers as good a product as my previous clients.

I ordered samples from various companies, researched their timelines, prices, options, and company values – and here’s my favorite places to print!

    Prints of Love

Prints of Love is my go to printing partner for my template customers. It’s so incredibly easy to use and their printing is top notch! After you edit your template, download as a PDF, then upload it to Prints of Love. You can choose your quantity, paper type (I love their matte paper for wedding invitations!), and if you want to add free envelopes (yes, please!).

Beyond offering easy ordering and high quality printing, Prints of Love is QUICK! If you need fast wedding invitations, they can handle it. They ship all orders out in 2-3 business days and offer free 2-3 day shipping for US customers! In the wedding world, that’s lightning fast – with no rush fees. *Prints of Love also offers international shipping for a charge.

And if that isn’t enough – they plant a tree in your name when you place an order. Does it get any better than that?

Maybe ‘cause Prints of Love can also print large format signs, programs, menus, place cards – and even envelopes!

    Cards and Pockets

If you’re using one of our DIY pocket wedding invitation templates, we recommend Cards and Pockets for printing. The pieces needed to fit in the pocket style invitation are a little different than standard sizes, but Cards and Pockets offers these sizes directly on their website.

For the main invitation, we recommend choosing the 4.5×6.5 so it fits nicely when glued in the pocket folder. The insert cards should all be 3.5 inches wide and if you want to do the stacking effect, we recommend a 3.5×5, 3.5×5.75, and 3.5×6.5. Our pocket templates include all the pieces at this size for multiple insert cards.

Cards and Pocket turnaround can be a little longer than Prints of Love, so definitely order in advance and be patient. If you aren’t worried about time, you can always order sample proofs with them before placing a full order. This is great if you want to see colors in person before committing!

You can also use Cards and Pockets for printing your own envelope liners and belly bands!

Our pocket templates include full, step-by-step directions for ordering everything as shown.

    Local Print Shops

Although both of the printing companies we’ve mentioned are small businesses, we are always in favor of supporting local too! If you want to be more involved in the wedding invitation printing process, we recommend finding a local print shop. They’ll often be able to guide you on choosing the perfect paper and can help with file set up too!

A quick online search can lead you to some great finds – just give them a call, ask if they can print wedding invitations, and set up a time to stop by. Make sure they offer a thick cardstock option and see if they’ll allow you to do a printed proof (most will!).

Most local print shops can have your wedding invitations printed within a week!

    Office Supply Stores

Although places like FedEx, Staples, and OfficeMax are great for large format signs, they’re not our favorite for printing wedding invitations. Through personal experience, as well as feedback from our customers, the quality isn’t quite up to that of the other options we mentioned. Sometimes it’s a lack of nice paper, issues when cutting, or just faded colors – these are a last resort printing option for us!

Some of the above links are affiliate links meaning we can receive a compensation if you purchase, at no cost to you. We only recommend companies and products we know, trust, and love!

Shopping small and supporting local are always great when it leads to an excellent final product! Our goal is to make the wedding invitation process as easy (and beautiful) as possible for you, so let us know if you have any questions about printing!

  • QR Code Wedding Programs

QR codes seemed to have made a comeback (if they were ever really a thing in the first place) with the pandemic. Maybe it’s just where I live in California, but almost every restaurant has opted for digital menus over traditional paper ones. Use your phone, scan the code, and you’ll be sent to a link to view your happy hour options!

There are so many possibilities to use QR codes within your wedding! (Check out this post about QR code wedding invitations). I’m really excited about the idea of a digital wedding program, for so many reasons, so read on for the full tutorial on creating a QR code wedding program!

You can also skip to the bottom of this post for a step-by-step video tutorial! > > >

    What is a QR Code?

First things first – what the heck is a QR code? Simply put, it’s a unique, scannable image that links to anywhere you choose. Accessible via your phone’s camera, it will allow the person viewing it to visit the website of your choice.

Meaning – there are SO MANY POSSIBILITIES to use QR code with your wedding!

Why QR Codes Wedding Programs are Awesome

    Budget Friendly

When it comes to weddings, most couples are trying to find ways to save in certain areas so they can splurge in others! Wedding invitations are my love language, and the very first impression of your big day, and I always recommend making them count. But when it comes to programs – this is a category where you can save some moolah!

Let’s say you need 100 programs (I suggest ordering around 80% of your final guest count) – the cost for printing is about $100.

If you opt for a single, large sign instead – the cost is $32 (based on an 18×24 ordered through our print shop partner).

That’s a quick way to save $68 for a few extra rounds of drinks for the honeymoon ; )

    Environmentally Friendly

Besides being easy on the wallet, digital wedding programs are also kinder to our environment. Again, I believe a physical wedding invitation should be sent (and kept) to be a lasting memento of your big day, but paper ceremony programs aren’t always a necessity. Choosing a QR code wedding program is a great way to balance the paper you use!

Did I mention that our printing partner plants a tree for every order placed through their website? So either way, you’re creating a net positive environmental impact.

    Flexible

As someone who has worked on wedding stationery for over seven years, I’ll warn you that last minute changes happen – often. Maybe it’s a change in the bridal party – you accidentally listed your college bff’s maiden name instead of her newly married last name. Maybe you want to switch the order of the ceremony, change a listed song, or add in an unplugged ceremony note – it happens!

With printed programs, these will need to be finalized and sent to print at least a week and a half before the big day (absolute minimum – our printing partner ships orders quickly, but trust me you don’t want to rely on last minute deliveries!) Typically, we recommend finalizing your programs at least two weeks before – just in case.

With digital programs, you can make edits up until the minute you’re walking down the aisle. Not ideal, but you get the point! The QR code wedding program allows you to be super flexible in making any last minute updates or changes.

How to Create a QR Code Wedding Program

We promise you don’t have to be super tech savvy to create your own paperless programs! Here’s what to do:

    1. Choose a wedding program template.

We offer a variety of printable wedding programs – that can also be used to create your QR code program! Start by browsing here.

    1. Edit your template.

After purchasing, change the colors, fonts, wording – even add a photo!

    1. Download.

To keep it simple for the two page program, choose the PDF option and select the “design default size”.

    1. Create a QR code.

This website* allows you to create QR codes for free – select more in the top toolbar, then choose “PDF” and upload your completed program. Click generate code and ta-da, you have yourself a scannable code! Click download. *At the time of this post, this website allowed free use, but please check for any updated terms!

    1. Choose a sign template.

You can browse both large and small signs for paperless wedding programs here in our template shop!

(Hint: as of June 2022 we offer discounts for buying 3+ products in one transaction, so buy your programs, sign template, and something else together to save some moolah!)

    1. Add your QR code.

Edit your template to fit your needs and just click “replace image” to upload your QR code! Do a quick check with your phone to make sure it works correctly.

Click here to try the demo for free to see exactly how it works!
    1. Download and print!

Again, we recommend choosing the PDF and “design default size” options. If you’re printing the large sign option, Prints of Love can take care of it for you – they even have an option to add a mounted foam board. (Pro tip: we love the “matte” option for signage!)

So there you have it – your own QR code wedding programs! As of now, this is definitely a new trend, sure to impress your guests.

Bonus tip: it’s always nice to have a few printed programs for family members and keepsake items. You can order a small quantity of 10, through Prints of Love, along with your signage!

Other ideas for using QR codes on your wedding day: a scannable seating chart, menu, or link for guests to upload the photos they take at your reception!

  • Tips for Proofreading Wedding Invitations

Whether you’re using one of your wedding invitation templates or working with a designer, don’t skip the step of proofreading before printing. The design process gets exciting and it can be easy to miss a little detail, misspelling, or extra space if you aren’t checking carefully. It happens, but can easily be avoided if you follow these steps.

Here are a few tips for proofreading your wedding invitations to ensure they are perfect before going to print!

simple black and white wedding invitation template

    ASK FOR HELP

Have your fiancé, wedding planner, mom, or friend look over the designs. Calling in for backup is crucial – you’ve been staring at the invitation closely and it starts to look familiar. Someone who hasn’t yet seen the design can really provide new insight. It’s good to get a fresh set of eyes to review everything before signing off your final approval!

    TRY OUT YOUR WEBSITE LINK

Often couples include a link to their wedding website to direct guests for further information about their big day, typically listed on the details insert card. Try typing the link you have into your browser to make sure it is correct – add or remove any prefixes as necessary.

If you want to make it as easy as possible for your guests, consider using a QR code rather than typed link.

    READ BACKWARDS

Sometimes when reading words in order, it can be harder to notice a spelling order. Our brains kind of “autocorrect” and might skip a mistake because the words make sense together. By reading backwards you are isolating each word and are more likely to identify an error.

    modern wedding invitation template
    CHECK SPACING

Look over the invitation and insert cards carefully to make sure spacing is correct. When drafting up proofs, sometimes an extra space might accidentally get added. This can be a very small error, but checking closely can ensure all spacing is as it should be.

    CONFIRM VENUE AND ADDRESS SPELLING

When proofreading, you’re easily able to notice an error in your names or general words because it’s something you are familiar with. The venue name and address is more likely to get missed. Double check that the full name, street address, city, and state are spelled out correctly.

    REVIEW ETIQUETTE

Some mistakes you might not even know you are making, like using abbreviations or adding unnecessary information. Check out this post on how to avoid common wedding invitation mistakes and refer to Emily Post for more in depth etiquette rules.

  • How to Get Beautiful, Quality Wedding Invitations on a Budget

Everyone is on a budget and often invitations are one of the first things to sacrifice when it comes to allocating wedding funds. (I have no idea why since invitations are the first impression of your entire big day, the detail that ties it all together, and one of the only things you get to keep after the big day is over – just sayin!)

What if I told you that you can still get beautifully designed invites with quality printing, without breaking the bank?

    Easy Wedding Invitation Templates

Say hello to wedding invitation templates – one of my favorite wedding hacks for saving money!

    Modern Wedding Invitation Template

Instead of working one-on-one with a designer, you find an existing design you like and customize it yourself. If you’re thinking – no way can I design my own invitations, read on ‘cause it’s easier than you may think!

You don’t have to be a designer or even tech savvy to use our wedding invitation templates. Each design includes a free demo so you can even test it out before you buy. You can read more about exactly how the process works right here!

It’s beyond easy – most clients spend less than 10 minutes editing the design to customize their invites before downloading to print. And if for some reason, you want to have a pro edit for you – we can do that too!

    Wedding Invitation Printing

Your invitations deserve to be on nice paper, with quality printing. Since it is the first detail of your big day, it gives guests a preview of the event – subconsciously telling them how to dress and even how much to gift. No printer paper here!

    Wedding Invitations on a Budget

We partner with an amazing online print shop, Prints of Love, where you can easily upload your files. Their matte cardstock is my personal favorite for wedding invitations! Pricing is great four couples on a budget and they often have sales running with discounts.

All invitation orders include free envelopes, which is an awesome bonus. As of February 2022, code “Love10” will earn you a 10% discount on orders of $49 or more. Visit their website for current sales!

If you don’t use Prints of Love, we recommend using a local print shop where you can discuss the specifics of your order with someone. For best quality, we always outsource our printing. It might feel like it’s more cost effective to print from home but when you add in the cost of paper, ink, time spent troubleshooting, a paper trimer, and time cutting – it is usually well worth it to leave it to the pros!

Your wedding invitations matter, they’re so much more than just a piece of paper. They truly are the first impression of your entire event and serve a pretty important role – getting your guests to your wedding. We’re excited to offer our affordable templates so you don’t have to sacrifice on design or quality, even if you’re ballin’ on a budget. Visit the template shop now!

  • Pretty Stamps for Wedding Invitations

Stamps for wedding invitations are often overlooked, but it’s a little detail that pulls together the whole design. Let’s avoid any ugly stamps for your oh-so-pretty paper, ok?

At the time of this post, custom stamps have been discontinued. Fear not, future bride (or groom!) there are still tons of options for good looking wedding invitation stamps.

    Buying Stamps for Wedding Invitations

Trust me on this: Ordering stamps in bulk from USPS.com is the easiest way to buy stamps. Otherwise, you’re waiting in a post office line to sift through a binder of what’s available – often not 100 of the better looking stamps. When you buy stamps online, they usually arrive in 1-2 weeks and shipping is $1.85. Do it, you can thank me later.

Pro tip: If you’re using a traditional RSVP card with a reply envelope, you’ll need to buy enough stamps to cover that postage along with the mailing envelopes.

    Pretty USPS Stamps

The selection of stamps you can buy through USPS is always changing, but here are some of the ones I’m loving right now for wedding invitations!

    Floral Stamps

These are probably the most “traditional” stamps for wedding invitations. The two on bottom have been my go-to stamps for my full service invitation clients for the last couple of years. The top two came out recently and I like that they’re a little more modern!

    wedding invitation stamps

The boutonniere versions are perfect for RSVP envelopes. You can also use them on your mailing envelopes if your entire invitation suite is under one ounce. If you have a heavier suite with double envelopes, multiple inserts, ribbon, wax seals, etc – opt for the two-ounce stamp which is currently 70 cents.

    Other USPS Options

USPS just came out with a bunch of new options (yay!), but that also meant they discontinued some old favorites. Keep reading to see how to find the “retired” stamps online!

I’m digging these abstract art stamps for a couple reasons! I love that it’s highlighting a female artist. They have a modern feel and are somewhat neutral, so could be paired with a variety of invitation designs.

These outdoor-sy stamps are new and really cool if you’re a couple that loves to travel, having a destination wedding, or are just nature lovers. The scenes are colorful and peaceful; the canoe design truly sparks joy for me!

    Retired Stamps

Like I mentioned above, with new stamps means USPS will discontinue, or retire, other designs.

BUT – you can buy USPS’s retired stamps on Amazon. Forever stamps are good, well forever. You can expect to pay a little more than face value, some are more expensive than others.

    floral stamps for wedding invitations

    A few of my favorites:

    • These floral Love stamps are my favorite USPS has ever sold. I used them on every wedding invitation order I could and was super bummed when they discontinued them. They’re cheerful and the perfect way to add a fun detail to your invitation envelopes!
    • These Love stamps are a close second. Blue in color, fun font, and an airplane – these were made for wedding invitations!
    • I love the colors in the berry stamp collection. They’re also a bit smaller than the typical stamp, with a dainty feel. I still have a small secret stash of these I’m holding onto!
    • Tropical vibes or plant lovers – these fern stamps are made for you! So fun for a boho wedding.
    • Nothing says wedding like floral and these sets have such variety! Another I used frequently and was sad to see retired. These are pretty pricey through Amazon, but I wanted to share them just in case they’re available elsewhere!
    • These air mail stamps have such a vintage vibe and are perfect for an industrial wedding! I used them for my Christmas cards last year because I wanted red, but couldn’t bear the cheesy holiday stamps.

After looking at all of these, I’m really wanting to start a petition to bring the good ones back! I have no idea why USPS only keeps such a limited selection available at a time. #wewantprettystamps

    Vintage Stamps for Wedding Invitations

If it’s in your budget and you want something really pretty, I recommend vintage stamps! These are old, unused stamps and Etsy is a great place to find them.

You’ll have to order in the increments that add up to the actual postage you need. For example, if your mailing envelope is under one ounce, you’ll need 55 cents worth of postage so you could use four stamps – 25 cents, 15 cents, 8 cents, 7 cents. Make sense? (Cracking myself up over here, sorry!)

One of my very favorite shops for vintage stamps is VerdeStudio on Etsy. She’ll even put together a curated collection for you in your color palette or theme! I’ve also ordered from Little Postage House and other Etsy shops!

    Speciality Stamps

If you’re mailing anything over an ounce, you will need to add additional postage. I always recommend taking one, fully assembled invitation suite to the post office you’ll mail from and have them weigh it for you. It would be a less than awesome experience to have all your invitations returned for insufficient postage.

Square envelopes require this special stamp. Basically, a mail machine “reads” envelopes and knows which way is up by the length of the sides. Since a square’s sides are all the same size, it has to be sorted manually and that cost is passed on to the mailer.

Postcards require only 35 cents of postage to mail, a definite favorite for save the dates and RSVP cards. Currently USPS only has this design available and because it’s not very fitting with most wedding themes, often couples choose a prettier 55 cent stamp anyway.

Did you have any idea there were so many options for stamps for wedding invitations? If you’ve found another stamp you love, let me know in the comments below!

  • How to Use a QR Code for Wedding Invitations

Website links? So last year. Using a QR code for wedding invitations is a trend that’s still emerging, but we’re loving it for a few reasons! I’m sharing exactly how to set up a QR code, creative ways to use it for your wedding, and invitation templates that incorporate a place for the scannable image.

Modern Virtual Wedding Invitation with QR code

    What are QR codes?

Quick storytime: I’m not a tech savvy person and always resistant to anything new. I’ve seen QR codes everywhere for years, but didn’t know how they worked. If I’m being honest, I thought you had to have a QR code app and truly didn’t understand the power of these funky looking images.

Fun fact: QR codes came out in 1994 and rose to popularity in 2002 in Japan. The QR codes we know today, scannable with our phones, really gained traction in 2011. Steph (that’s me) didn’t understand what they did until 2019.

Within the past year (a little embarrassing, but true!), I realized how QR codes actually work — and how incredibly easy they are to visit as a user and to set up for use. So, all you do is pull out your smart phone, open the camera, and hold it over the image – it does the magic from there! Nothing to download, just leads you straight to the intended link.

Pretty neat, right? QR codes are frequently used on business cards, signage, menus, instructions, packaging, and more. I haven’t seen them used on stationery, like invites, too often and I don’t know why the heck not – here’s why using a QR code for wedding invitations is an awesome idea.

    QR Code Wedding Website

So many couples opt for a wedding website as a place to list the full logistics of their big day. Instead of writing out the long website URL on your invitation or details insert, just create a QR code (it’s 100% pain free – the steps to creating your own are below!).

It makes the website accessible immediately and your guests don’t have to type in your full website link. Not only is it super easy, but dare I say – fun? When I see a QR code on something, there’s a little bit of a surprise as to what I’m getting when I scan. This is a great way to make sure people actually visit your website: pure curiosity.

    Online RSVPs

I’ve been working with couples to design wedding invitations since 2013 and I can tell you that choosing an online RSVP is definitely growing as a trend. Rather than the traditional RSVP card with pre-stamped and addressed envelopes, couples are choosing the virtual RSVP for a few reasons. Often ease and cost prevail, although I do still recommend the traditional RSVP for more formal weddings!

With a QR code, you can have guests respond directly via your link letting you know if they can or cannot attend. When they read your RSVP instructions with a QR code, instead of thinking “I’ll do that later”, they can just pick up their phone and do it instantly.

You can keep wording simple and state: “Please scan to RSVP. We appreciate your response by September 1 and look forward to celebrating with you!”

    QR Codes for Virtual Weddings

In 2019, I don’t think anyone ever dreamed that weddings would become virtual within the next year, but here we are!

Meeting links for Zoom and Skype live streaming sessions can get long, especially if you want to include a password. QR codes are the perfect way to make attending a virtual wedding super, duper easy. Just scan and you’re in!

We have a mini collection of invitations for virtual weddings, all with a space for adding your custom QR code.

How to Create a Custom QR Code for Wedding Invitations

Spoiler alert: creating a QR code is easy. If I can do it, I promise you can!

Once you have your URL, visit a QR code generator website. Drop your link and ta-da! That’s it. If you’re fine with keeping the standard code, you can just download! If you want to change the color or add a logo, you’ll have to create a free account.

    Wedding Invitation Template Shop

Tip: Keep colors dark, some phones have trouble picking up lighter shades.

If you choose one of our template that already has a QR code, you can easily drop it in. When customizing the invitation, just click the code and “replace image”. Upload your custom QR code and you’re done!

How to use a QR code for wedding invitations in 2020

You can also “add a new image” to any of our designs that don’t have the QR code or include with your own design.

Before printing everything, test your code out. It can be harder to scan through a screen, so zoom in if you need to. It’ll be much easier to scan once printed, but you want to make sure you got it right first!

So, what do you think? Are you going to use a QR code for your wedding invitations? Let me know by commenting below!

  • DIY Tutorial: Vellum Wedding Invitations

We’re loving vellum wedding invitations this year – they’re different, fun, and super easy to DIY! I’m going to walk you step-by-step through choosing a design and how to print invitations at home. Gorgeous, budget friend wedding invitations coming right up!

Vellum Wedding Invitations you can DIY!

    What you’ll need*:

How to DIY vellum wedding invitations

Picking a Design to Print on Vellum

When it comes to wedding invitations, there are so many choices for design. If you want to use vellum, we recommend choosing something simple. Designs without a colored background and single, dark ink color work best. Black is the safest choice, although other dark colors can work well too!

Stay away from designs with photos, lots of artwork, and fully colored background if you’re DIY printing vellum invitations. Not only do they use a lot of ink, but vellum is pretty delicate and you don’t want to push the paper. If you do want vellum wedding invitations with a little more something-something, we recommend outsourcing printing to the pros! This company does a great job printing on vellum.

How to Print Invitations on Vellum Paper

If you’re using one of our invitation design templates, download your edited design as a PDF. Set up multiple per page and select to add the crop marks.

Your printer settings will depend on the computer and software you use. I’m using a Mac and printing from Adobe Acrobat. Every printer is a little bit different, just make sure you “fit to page” to get the correct sizing.

Insert the paper into the printer and print! I always recommend going through the full process with a sample before printing everything, just in case you need to make adjustments to the size, color, or settings. (You don’t want to print your entire set of invitations twice, I promise).

    Printing Vellum Wedding Invitations

Pro Tips for Printing on Vellum:

    • Handle the vellum carefully and try to only touch it on the edges. Your fingers can sometimes leave prints on the paper from the oils in your skin.
    • Let you design dry before you start trimming the paper. The ink can smear and transfer to other pieces of vellum. It doesn’t need a ton of time, a couple minutes should be safe!
    • Heat can cause the paper to curl, so let your printer take a break after printing 10 sheets to cool down.

    Cutting Vellum Invitations

You’ll definitely need a paper trimmer to cut your vellum wedding invitations. It takes a couple tries to get it right, always print extras for practice!

Use the crop marks on the paper to line up under the trimmer blade. You’ll have to do less cutting if you trim the larger edges first (two birds, one stone deal).

Pro Tip: Clear out any extra paper that gets left in the blade trough/gutter or else it will force the paper to crinkle up on the next cut.

If you’re using the paper trimmer we recommend, they have a handy guide for standard sizes like 5×7 to make sure you’re getting it right!

Tips for DIY Vellum Wedding Invitations

Once you’ve cut your paper, I recommend storing it under a book or set of books, so it doesn’t curl up.

Pair your vellum invitation with a piece of cardstock to make the envelope a bit thicker and add a pop of color. Use a photo printed on cardstock with save the dates!

  • Meet the Designer

Hi there, I’m Steph! Font fanatic, paper nerd, and lover of snail mail.

I started someday paper co, this invitation template shop, in April 2020 at the start of quarantine. I’ve worked with couples one-on-one designing wedding invitations for over six years in my other business, oh my! designs. Starting a template shop has been an idea of mine for quite some time, but it wasn’t until the shifts in the industry happened that I had the free time, and perspective, to go for it!

    The Idea

Both businesses co-exist together and creating templates allows me to design for more couples which I’m beyond excited about. With the one-on-one service, I’m only able to serve a limited number of clients each year. Most of these couples use luxury printing methods and have a nice invitation budget – they know paper is the first impression of their big day, and one of the only things you get to keep, and are excited to invest into an experience and amazing product.

Not everyone has the budget, or even the desire, to invest into their wedding stationery. I get it – weddings can be expensive and you might be trying to have some dolla-dolla bills left over for a dream honeymoon or a down payment for a home. There’s no shame in balling on a budget and I wanted to find a way to serve those couples alongside my full service clients!

In order to preserve the brand standard for oh my! designs, I do not offer the semi-custom designs in that collection as printable templates.

    The Inspiration

With the templates, I really wanted to create from my current place of inspiration.

I moved from Atlanta, Georgia to San Diego, California about two years ago and the west coast vibe has been a major influence in what I create. I love modern and minimalist designs with a hint of boho flair. The coastal, effortless, easy feel is something I love in not only invitations, but weddings themselves, fashion, and home decor!

I’ve been inspired to create in everything from typography on a Kombucha can to color palettes in a high end taco joint (looking at you, Tocaya!) Inspiration really is everywhere …and San Diego isn’t a bad place to soak it in!

Stay in the loop for new designs and expanded offerings in the future!

    About Me

Tacos, smoothies, and long walks on the beach – yep, that’s the jist of it! But in all seriousness, I eat tacos at least twice a week (often more!) and have a smoothie daily – that’s balance, right?

I moved to San Diego after dating my boyfriend long distance – we met at a wedding!

We live about 10 minutes from the beach and try to go watch a sunset at least once a week. It’s a reminder of how small we are in this big universe and you need that every so often!

When I’m not designing, you can find me planning my next trip or watching a documentary. I’m a huge sucker for The Bachelor – and really any love story, including yours!

I’m a big believer in creating a life you love and taking chances (calculated risks!). Do good in the world and have fun doing it – yolo, am I right?!

That’s enough about me, head over to the shop to check out my designs!
